Las Escuelas de Ciencias Comerciales y Económicas en la Universidad de Oriente (1947 - 1975)

Abstract

Hace varios años existe el interés de salvar la memoria histórica, la identidad y el patrimonio de la Universidad de Oriente, es por ello que se promueven las investigaciones de corte histórico sobre la referida entidad, con el fin de dar a conocer de forma concatenada y actualizada toda su trayectoria. Dentro los estudios impostergables se encuentran los que aborden sobre las carreras, facultades, centros de estudios y de investigación; entre estos se listan: Las Escuelas de Ciencias Comerciales y Económicas. Siendo una de ellas fundadoras de la U/O, hasta el momento no cuentan con una investigación profunda, amplia que describa el devenir histórico de las mismas. El presente trabajo titulado: Las Escuelas de Ciencias Comerciales y Económicas en la Universidad de Oriente (1947 – 1975) es un primer acercamiento a la historia de estas Escuelas, una modesta contribución al esfuerzo que se realiza para escribir lo más acabado posible la historia del Alma Mater Oriental. Contribuye principalmente a la historia de la actual Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales.

The present work entitled: The Schools of Commercial and Economic Sciences in the Universidad de Orient (1947 - 1975) is a first approach to the history of these Schools, a modest contribution to the effort that is made to write the most possible history of the Alma Mater Oriental. It contributes mainly to the history of the current Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences.
