Contribución de los profesores de la Universidad de Oriente a la historiografía cubana en el período de 1962 –1975

Abstract

Los estudios historiográficos, han estado presente a lo largo de la historia y siempre han resultado de interés entre los historiadores, ya que mediante los mismos se ha podido tener un mayor y mejor conocimiento de las obras históricas. Por la importancia de este tema y por la necesidad de continuar dichos estudios, este trabajo tiene como título “La contribución de los profesores de la Universidad de Oriente a la historiografía cubana en el período de 1962 – 1975”, trazándose como objetivo, valorar la contribución de los profesores de dicha institución a la historiografía cubana en el período antes mencionado. Esta temática resulta novedosa ya que brinda información valiosa sobre las obras escritas por dicho claustro, lo que permite conocer un poco más de estoy de la historia nacional, local y regional. Por tanto, esta investigación aborda, a través de dos capítulos, los principales aportes de los profesores de dicha universidad, mediante diversas publicaciones, de las que se delimita su aporte a la ciencia histórica. Por consiguiente, de esta forma se tributa al conocimiento de la historiografía cubana en general y sirve de base para continuar realizando este tipo de estudio. Partiendo de este análisis se pudo arribar a diversas conclusiones que demuestran el activo protagonismo que este claustro tuvo en el desarrollo de las investigaciones nacionales y santiagueras, a través de diversas temáticas.

The studies of the historiography have been present along the history and they have always been interesting among the historians, since by means of these it has been able to have a bigger and better knowledge of the historical works. For the importance of this topic and for the necessity of continuing these studies, this work has as title ‘’The contribution of the professors from the Universidad de Oriente to the historiography in the period of 1962 - 1975", taking as objective, to value the contribution from the professors of this institution to the Cuban historiography in the mentioned period. This is a novel topic because it offers valuable information about the works written by this cloister, what allows to know a little more about them, the national, local and regional history. Therefore, this investigation approaches, through two chapters, the main contributions of the professors of this college, through diverse publications, in which is defined the contribution to the historical sciense.Therefore, from this way, it is contributed to the knowledge of the Cuban historiography in general and it serves as base to continue carrying out this kind of study. Starting from this analysis you could arrive to diverse conclusions that demonstrate the active protagonism that this cloister had in the development of the national and investigations, through diverse thematic.
