Apuntes para la Historia del Centro de Biofísica Médica 1993 - 2013

Abstract

El presente trabajo de Diploma: Apuntes para la Historia del Centro de Biofísica Médica, es una reseña sobre el desarrollo y evolución del mismo desde el surgimiento del Grupo de Resonancia Magnético Nuclear en 1975, como motor impulsor de las actividades de resonancia en el campo de la medicina en Santiago de Cuba. Tiene el objetivo de analizar la evolución del Centro de Biofísica Médica desde su surgimiento en 1993 hasta el año 2013. El presente consta de dos capítulos, estructurados de forma periódica para ir marcando el desenvolvimiento del centro. Capítulo 1 titulado: Antecedentes de la creación del Centro de Biofísica Médica 1975-1992, integrado por tres epígrafes de forma ascendentes en años, en correspondencia con el desarrollo de estos investigadores dentro de la Universidad de Oriente, para llegar al año 1992, con la final construcción del Centro de Biofísica Médica. El Capítulo II. El Centro de Biofísica Médica (1993 – 2013)", estructurado por la misma cantidad de epígrafes. Se analiza la composición estructural del centro, las principales organizaciones que lo conforman. Se realiza un balance de los logros alcanzado por la institución durante sus 20 años de trabajo, así como los reconocimientos que le han otorgado y su impacto, en correspondencia con las necesidades del Ministerio de Ciencias Tecnología y Medio Ambiente (CITMA) y de forma directa al Ministerio de Educación Superior (MES).

This paper is about a brief description of the Medical Biophysical Center and its development an evolution since the emergence of the magnetic resonance group in 197 as the engine of resonance activities in the medicine field in Santiago de Cuba. It aims at analyzing the evolution of MBC since it’s beginning in 1993 until 2013. This paper contains two chapters which are structured in a periodical way to mark the development of the center: 1) Chapter one entitled: The antecedents of the creation of the MBC (1975-1992), divided into tree epigraphs in an ascendent way for years, in correspondence with the development of the investigation within the Oriente University to reach 1992 year whit the final construction of the center in study 2) Chapter two entitled: Medical Biophysical Center (1993-2013) divided into tree epigraphs in which it is done an analysis of the structural composition of the center and the main organizations that make up the center. A balance of the obtained achievements by the institution is done an it encompasses twenty years of hard work, as well as the prizes and awards received and the impact on social development in correspondence with the Environment Technology and Science Ministry and in a direct way on High Education Ministry.
