In the present work, a study is carried out on the technical-economic viability of the use of anaerobic sludge as animal feed in an integral system that contemplates the anaerobic digestion of distillery stillage and the use of the generated products. As a basis for the analysis, the characterization of the vinasse from the "Nauyú" distillery was carried out and the treatment efficiency, sludge and effluent composition were evaluated in a bench-scale reactor. In addition, the economic benefits derived from the use of sludge in different feeding systems were considered, as well as the use of biogas as fuel for the boiler that feeds the distillery and the effluent in the fertigation of sugarcane areas. It is concluded that anaerobic sludge can be considered potentially, an attractive alternative for animal feed. The proposed comprehensive system allows amortization of the initial investment in approximately three years, which is why it is considered a sustainable and sustainable economic alternative, applicable to the rest of the distilleries of the Ministry of Sugar.
