Comportamiento planimétrico de la vivienda protorracionalista desarrollada en el CHU de Santiago de Cuba.

Abstract

La vanguardia arquitectónica en la década de 1940 adquiere un desarrollo heterogéneo difundiendo sus obras por el CHU de la ciudad y otros barrios suburbanos, a partir de ahí comienza un nuevo proceso dentro de la arquitectura cubana, donde el principal protagonismo se le otorga al Protorracinalismo. Sobre el Protorracionalismo abordará la presente investigación, con el objetivo de estudiar el comportamiento planimétrico de las viviendas protorracionalistas del Centro Histórico Urbano de Santiago de Cuba para definir sus regularidades arquitectónicas. Este objetivo se apoyó en las consideraciones teóricas-conceptuales referidas en los métodos de análisis de la arquitectura. El estudio historiográfico de su surgimiento determinó la influencia de las soluciones planimétricas encontradas en el CHU de la ciudad, a partir de la selección de una muestra intencional excluyente y el empleo de dos variables de estudio, permitiendo definir las regularidades del comportamiento planimétrico y espacial de la vivienda protorracionalista objeto de estudio.

The architectural vanguard in the decade of 1940 acquires a heterogeneous development diffusing its works for UHC (Centro Histórico Urbano) the city and other suburban neighborhoods, a new process inside in the cuban architecture, where the main protagonism is granted to Protorracinalismo. On Protorracionalismo it will approach the present investigation, with the objective of studying the planimetric behavior of the protorracionalist housings of the Urban Historical Center of Santiago de Cuba to define their architectural regularities. This objective relied on the theoretical-conceptual considerations referred to the methods of analysis of the architecture and of the planimetric. To approach on their emerging is allowed to determine their influence in the solutions planimétricas found in UHC of the city. from a representative example and the use of two study variables as methodological procedure could be defined the regularity of the planimétric behavior of the protorracionalista housing study. The historiography study of the begening of that style allowed to know the planimetrical solution found in the Urban Historical Center of Santiago de Cuba, taken in to acount the seletion of one excluyen intencional example and two research variables to determinate the regularities of the space and planimetric behavior of the protorracionalistas housins.
