Formulación de Estrategias en la Unidad Empresarial de Base Flora y Fauna Guantánamo

Abstract

El trabajo investigativo se desarrolla en la Unidad Empresarial de Base Flora y Fauna Guantánamo, que es una entidad económica con personalidad jurídica propia y patrimonio independiente, subordinada directamente a la Empresa Nacional para la Protección de la Flora y Fauna, autorizada su creación mediante la Resolución No. 413 dictada por el Ministro de la Agricultura. Las técnicas avanzadas de dirección han adquirido notable difusión en el campo empresarial, sin embargo muchas organizaciones se resisten a su aplicación; las cuales en la actualidad se enfrentan más que nunca al reto de asimilar fuertes y continuos cambios del entorno. Es necesario, pues, que tomen decisiones dentro del ámbito empresarial, con el propósito de adaptarse a este dinámico y complejo mundo. Este proceso forma parte de la dirección estratégica, que podemos definirla como la filosofía y la ciencia de materializar y desarrollar todos los potenciales de una empresa, que le aseguren una supervivencia a largo plazo y a obtener beneficios. La presente investigación está dirigida a formular estrategias, transitando por un diagnóstico estratégico externo e interno, utilizando como herramienta la proyección de escenarios, que facilitará la implementación de las estrategias en la empresa determinando los más probables y favorables que garanticen obtener mejores resultados en la realización de sus actividades. Se escoge el tema porque es de gran importancia para todas las organizaciones del mundo, pero en particular para las del país, ya que la mayoría de éstas, incluyendo la que se utiliza como objeto de estudio en la investigación, carecen de un modelo formal para implantar la formulación de estrategias en el corto, mediano y largo plazo. Lo que ha traído como consecuencia el incumplimiento de los objetivos definidos, el incorrecto análisis del entorno general y la carencia de desarrollo de las habilidades para analizar este contexto
