Propuesta de un Plan Base General para la cadena productiva del cacao en el municipio Baracoa

Abstract

La presente investigación se realizó en la Empresa Agroforestal y Coco de Baracoa, y tiene como objetivo la Propuesta de un plan base general para el funcionamiento óptimo de la cadena productiva del cacao en el municipio de Baracoa, contribuyendo de esta forma al buen funcionamiento y optimización de la cadena del cacao en general. Como resultado final la investigación realizada, permitió identificar los problemas fundamentales que están presentes en la cadena productiva del cacao del municipio Baracoa y se definieron líneas de acción con lo cual fue posible construir un Plan Base General, para responder a las problemáticas y necesidades presentes en cada eslabón de la cadena productiva del cacao. Para llevar a cabo la investigación se utilizaron diferentes técnicas entre ellas: Entrevistas, criterios de expertos, revisión bibliográfica sobre el tema, recopilación de datos primarios y revisión de documentación sobre el tema, análisis de la información económica del territorio y el país.

The present investigation was carried out in the Agroforestry and Coco Company of Baracoa, and has as its objective the Proposal of a general base plan for the optimal functioning of the cocoa productive chain in the municipality of Baracoa, contributing in this way to the good functioning and optimization of the cacao chain in general. As a final result, the research carried out allowed us to identify the fundamental problems that are present in the cocoa production chain of the Baracoa municipality and lines of action were defined, with which it was possible to build a General Base Plan to respond to the problems and needs present in the each link in the cocoa production chain. To carry out the research, different techniques were used among them: Interviews, expert criteria, bibliographic review on the subject, collection of primary data and review of documentation on the subject, analysis of the economic information of the territory and the country.
