Estudio técnico del sistema de acueducto "sector hidrométrico Los Olmos, circuito hidrométrico Sorribe-Santa Rosa, Santiago de Cuba"

Abstract

Dada la necesidad de la Empresa de Acueducto y Alcantarillado “Aguas Santiago”, se nos ocupa la siguiente investigación correspondiente al circuito hidrométrico nombrado “Sorribe-Santa Rosa”, ubicado en el municipio Santiago de Cuba, provincia del mismo nombre. Como objetivo fundamental nos planteamos realizar un estudio del comportamiento técnico del sistema de abasto de agua potable de dicho circuito, para lograrlo, se describieron los elementos teóricos-conceptuales del abasto de agua potable, se hizo una caracterización del sistema tecnológico, simulándose el comportamiento hidráulico del circuito en estudio, con el software profesional EPANET 2.0.

Given the need for the Aqueduct and Sewerage Company "Aguas Santiago", we are concerned with the following investigation corresponding to the hydrometric circuit named "Sorribe-Santa Rosa", located in the municipality of Santiago de Cuba, province of the same name. As a fundamental objective, we set out to carry out a study of the technical behavior of the drinking water supply system of said circuit, to achieve this, the theoretical-conceptual elements of the drinking water supply were described, a characterization of the technological system was made, simulating the hydraulic behavior of the circuit under study, with the professional software EPANET 2.0
