Albert Camus. Existencialismo vs humanismo en la evolución de su concepción filosófica a través de “El extranjero” y “La peste”

Abstract

La siguiente investigación ha sido realizada cumpliendo el objetivo propuesto, demostrando que en el pensamiento de Albert Camus hubo una evolución marcada en una primera etapa de su crecimiento intelectual en la obra ”El extranjero,” caracterizada por el pesimismo, el absurdo, la ausencia de una meta en la vida, la desmotivación. En una etapa más madura de su producción intelectual manifestada en “La peste,” desarrolla nuevas ideas que muestran un despliegue en su pensamiento, en la cual los individuos luchan por preservar sus vidas, toman consciencia del peligro que enfrentaban, y lo más importante, en esta obra su autor transita del absurdo de la existencia humana a un pensamiento humanista. Partiendo de las características generales del existencialismo y contextualizar entre sus representantes a Albert Camus como autor de las obras investigadas, se evidencia la influencia del existencialismo y como rasgo fundamental de su filosofía, el absurdo. En cuanto a los argumentos filosóficos que motivan a desarrollar la investigación y que promueven al problema científico, en el trabajo se tienen en cuenta las características inherentes a la filosofía existencialista tales como el absurdo, el pesimismo, la subjetividad, la irracionalidad, las cuales son recreadas en la trama de las obras analizadas.

The following investigation has been carried out completing the proposed objective, demonstrating that in the thought of Albert Camus had an evolution in its thought, marked in a first stage of its intellectual growth in the work The foreigner, characterized by the pessimism, the absurdity, the absence of a goal in the life, the desmotivación. Already in a more mature stage of their intellectual production manifested in The pest, it develops new ideas that show a development in their thought, in this the individuals they fight to preserve their lives, they take conscience of the danger that you/they faced, and the most important thing, in this work their author traffics of the absurdity from the human existence to a humanist thought. Leaving of the general characteristics of the existentialism and contextualizar among their representatives to Albert Camus like author of the investigated works, the influence of the existentialism is evidenced and like fundamental feature of its philosophy the absurdity. As for the philosophical arguments that motivate to develop the investigation and that they are matter for the scientific problem in the work he/she takes for sample the inherent characteristics to the existentialist philosophy as the absurdity, the pessimism, the crisis of the subjectivity, the irrationality, which are recreated in the plot of the analyzed works.
