Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como tema: “Darcy Ribeiro y el ser latinoamericano”. Sus ideas han tenido un gran valor para el desarrollo del pensamiento latinoamericano, fiel seguidor de las ideas de Marx. Su pensamiento está marcado por sus ideas progresistas, hombre de izquierda. Para Darcy Ribeiro la esencialidad del ser latinoamericano radica en la autenticidad de cada individuo y en la resistencia que se pueda tener frente a cualquier amenaza que pueda existir en cuanto al cambio de nuestra identidad. Realiza el estudio de las raíces de cada pueblo de América Latina, para entender la conformación cultural y como resultado la identidad construida por los pueblos latinoamericanos. Sus estudios de antropología cultural tienen como punto de partida su filiación a lo más avanzado del pensamiento filosófico latinoamericano y de su humanismo, en tal sentido es explicable como se muestra seguidor de las concepciones martianas de defensa de nuestra identidad latinoamericana , del humanismo guevariano , de las concepciones marxistas auténticamente latinoamericanas y de las concepciones que defienden la cultura latinoamericana en Leopoldo Zea y de Salazar Bondy, creando una concepción original en la búsqueda y defensa de nuestro ser latinoamericano. Creador de una amplia obra, comprometida a estudiar el origen y desenvolvimiento de los pueblos de América Latina y solucionar el problema del ser latinoamericano. En este orden sus concepciones recuperan la tradición y el legado de la historia de Latinoamérica, hacen valer la esperanza, la búsqueda constante de nuestro sujeto histórico y su modo de resistencia a la globalización cultural capitalista que se le impone.
