José Antonio Portuondo Valdor: Legado estético de la Revolución Cubana

Abstract

José Antonio Portuondo estuvo relacionado con el enfoque concreto y polémico e ideológico en el país, abogando por el comienzo de una estética que mire a la realidad y a sus problemas siendo estos mismos que nos planteen la base sobre la cual podremos edificar una expresión estética del país. Sus ideas estéticas tienen gran significación para la revolución, porque a través de ellas consolidan las raíces de la nacionalidad cubana, Portuondo reafirma sobre la base de serios estudios teóricos, nuestra independencia cultural desde una posición marxista leninista, válida para abordar con criterios sólidamente científicos la interpretación desde un fenómeno estético. A juicio de la investigación las ideas estéticas referente a la cultura es prueba elocuente de la vitalidad y transformación social donde la formación ideológica juega un rol importante. En sus ideas estéticas se concretan a partir del desarrollo cultural cubano alcanzado por el hombre, donde cada clase conduce su propia estética. En sus obras se declaran aspectos que resumen la toma de conciencia del hombre nuevo a partir de la aprehensión de la realidad, su propio modo de vida y su propio ideal. La evolución de sus ideas sintetiza todo el quehacer cultural cubano hacia una nueva expresión que debe nutrirse de los elementos de la naturaleza y la sociedad en tanto el individuo sea ser activo y protagónico de su proyecto de vida individual y colectiva con el fin de influir en la creación y expresión de la cultura desarrollando la verdadera esencia humana. Sus ideas estéticas se declaran punto de partida de la comprensión e interpretación del mundo a partir de la acción reciproca de los hombres, como la implementación de principios que permitan optimizar la calidad de vida artística y culturalmente en Cuba.

José Antonio Portuondo was connected with the polemic and ideological concrete approach at the country, pleading for the beginning of an esthetics that it faces reality and to his problems being these same that they present the base which we will be able to edify an esthetic expression of the country. His esthetic ideas have great significance for the revolution, because through them the roots of Cuban nationality got consolidation, Portuondo reaffirms on the base of serious theoretic studies, our cultural independence from a Marxist-Leninist position, valid to discuss with solidly scientific criteria the interpretation from an esthetic phenomenon. To judgment of investigation the esthetic ideas relating to culture is eloquent test of vitality and social transformation where the ideological formation, play an important role. In his esthetic ideas materialize the Cuban cultural development reached by the man, where each class conducts his own esthetics. Aspects that summarize the overtaking of the new man as from the apprehension of reality, his own mode of life and his own ideal become manifest in his works. The evolution of his ideas synthesizes all of the Cuban cultural duty toward a new expression that he must receive nourishment of the elements of nature and the society in the meantime the individual being active and protagoَ nic of his individual and collective project of life with the end do influencing the creation and expression of culture developing the true human essence. His esthetic ideas starting point of the understanding and interpretation of the world from the reciprocal action of the men, as the principled implementation that permits optimizing the quality cultural and artistic of life in Cuba.
