La motivación por la lectura de textos literarios en estudiantes de la Secundaria Básica

Abstract

La lectura es un medio efectivo para lograr el desarrollo intelectual, social, espiritual y moral del estudiante; por lo tanto, en una sociedad como la actual, en un proceso educacional, la lectura reviste una alta significación y constituye un elemento esencial en la formación integral de las nuevas generaciones. Por estas razones es una necesidad buscar alternativas pedagógicas que permitan conducir e incentivar al estudiante a que se motiven o por la lectura. Las dificultades que presentan los estudiantes de noveno grado de la Secundaria Básica “Luis Manuel Pozo Nápoles”, hacia la motivación por la lectura, ameritan de intervención pedagógica, si por demás, también son insuficientes las actividades que contribuyen a solucionar esas dificultades cognitivas. Por ello se realiza la presente investigación que tiene como tema: La motivación por la lectura de textos literarios en los estudiantes de 9no grado de la Secundaria Básica “Luis Manuel Pozo Nápoles” y precisa como objetivo elaborar una propuesta de actividades que contribuya a la motivación por la lectura. Con este fin se emplearon diferentes métodos científicos del nivel teórico, empírico y estadístico que, en su conjunto, permiten adquirir información necesaria para el logro del objetivo propuesto.

Reading is an effective means to achieve the intellectual, social, spiritual and moral development of the student; therefore, in a society like the current one, in an educational process, reading is highly significant and constitutes an essential element in the integral formation of the new generations. For these reasons, it is necessary to look for pedagogical alternatives that allow to lead and encourage the student to be motivated or for reading. The difficulties presented by the ninth grade students of the "Luis Manuel Pozo Napoles" Secondary School, towards the motivation for reading, deserve pedagogical intervention, if for others, the activities that contribute to solve these cognitive difficulties are also insufficient. For this reason, the present investigation is carried out, which has as its theme: The motivation for reading literary texts in the 9th grade students of the "Luis Manuel Pozo Napoles" Secondary School and it specifies as an objective to elaborate a proposal of activities that contributes to motivation. for reading. To this end, different scientific methods of the theoretical, empirical and statistical level were used, which, as a whole, allow the acquisition of information necessary to achieve the proposed objective.
