Al producirse la Reforma Universitaria, en enero de 1962, la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras fue dividida en varias escuelas de mayor especialización: una de estas fue la de Historia. A ella se encomendó la tarea de formar a los nuevos historiadores, con una concepción marxista-leninista. De acuerdo al papel y función de la Historia, el historiador actúa en múltiples direcciones, de las cuales resulta esencial la investigación. Su contribución al conocimiento de la historia de la Revolución en el Poder. Para una mejor comprensión de este trabajo se estructuró en dos capítulos. El primero: Surgimiento y desarrollo de la revista Cuba Socialista, en el que se realiza una contextualización y caracterización de las tres épocas de Cuba Socialista. Se exhiben datos interesantes de la revista en cuestión como: sus objetivos, a quien se dirige, el papel desempeñado durante estos años de revolución como órgano político-ideológico. En el segundo capítulo: Contribución de la revista Cuba Socialista al conocimiento de la historia de la Revolución en el Poder se analizan una selección de artículos, partiendo de problemáticas inherentes a las épocas de la revista, tales como: construcción del socialismo, problemática de la mujer y la discriminación racial, las relaciones Cuba- Estados Unidos y algunas especificidades de cada época, en la que se hace una valoración precisa de los artículos que conforman la misma. Its contribution to the knowledge of the history of the Revolution in the Power. For a better understanding of this work it was structured in two chapters. The first one: Emergence and development of the Cuba Socialista magazine, in which is made a contextualization and characterization of the three epoch of Cuba Socialista magazine. Interesting facts of the magazine are exhibited, such as: their objectives, for who it is written, the work carried out during these years of revolution as political and ideological organ. Esfuerzos por incursionar en estos estudios han habidos miles, y gracias a ellos se fue insertando a pasos lentos dentro de la Historia Nacional. Aunque para muchos no sea relevante la historia desde el terruño hacia lo nacional, este resulta aporte indispensable al brindar, con una visión diferente, hechos de gran importancia. A pesar de la situación que se crea alrededor de esto, existen personalidades que sus investigaciones están enmarcadas en esta temática. Una de estas es la Dra. Olga Portuondo: profesora e investigadora histórica, que ha sabido inculcar el amor por la patrilocalidad. Encabeza la vanguardia de los estudios locales con novedosas investigaciones que recrean hechos y personalidades desconocidas u olvidadas. Por esta razón se ha desarrollado la siguiente investigación para acercarnos a una pequeña porción de su vida con el principal objetivo de valorar su obra y los aportes que realiza a la historiografía con ella. A través de testimonios personales y de personas relacionadas con ella, se conformaron tres capítulos que en esencia tratan la vida docente de esta figura y las publicaciones realizadas por ella durante más de cuatro décadas; que no solo se enmarca en lo local, sino que va más allá, al trabajar temas de interés nacional y extranjero, para de esa manera, apreciar la evolución que ha tenido su obra y los disímiles aportes que ha realizado a la historiografía nacional y local con cada una de ellas.; The local history has had a slow evolution process inside the Cuban historiography. Efforts to intruding in these studies have had thousands, and thanks to them he/she left inserting to slow steps inside the National History. Although for many, it is not important the regional history toward the national thing, it is an indispensable contribution when, with a different vision, gives us facts of great importance. In spite of the situation that is made around this, there are personalities that their investigations are framed in this thematic. One of these it is the Dr. Olga Portuondo: professor and historical investigator, who has known how to inculcate the love for the ’’patrilocalidad’’. She heads the vanguard of the local studies with novel investigations that recreate facts and unknown or forgotten personalities. For this reason the following investigation has been developed to come closer to a small portion of her life with the main objective to valuation her work and the contribution that it makes out to the historiography with her. Through personal testimonies and from people related with her, it were conformed two chapters that treat about the educational life of this figure and the publications made by her in essence during more than four decades; that only it is not framed in the local thing, but rather she goes further on when she works topics of national and foreigner interest. Esta Investigación realiza el estudio preliminar de la esclavitud durante la primera parte del siglo XIX, a través de la cinta El otro Francisco. En la realización del análisis se pudo constatar todo el mecanismo de la sociedad esclavista en Cuba durante la primera mitad del siglo XIX. Además, el papel jugado por el director de la cinta al llevarnos a la pantalla grande un aspecto poco tratado hasta ese momento; también se valora la realidad política, económica y social de la etapa colonial durante la etapa y se considera que, al abordar la esclavitud a través de la cinta “El otro Francisco”, el cine logró penetrar en este azote de la sociedad cubana decimonónica.; This research is about The Analysis of Slavery with a historic look through the film El otro Francisco accomplishes to the motion picture film, the Director Sergio Girals a scientific analysis. One considers than when The another Francis discuss the slavery through the tape, the Cuban was able to penetrate into society. 2011-01-01T00:00:00Z http://repositorio.uo.edu.cu/handle/123456789/1513 Aproximación a la vida y obra pedagógica e historiográfica de Francisco Javier Ibarra Martínez Ruíz García, Milagros de Jesús Francisco Javier Ibarra Martínez, fue una personalidad de una larga vida durante el siglo XX, y una de las personalidades santiagueras que dedicó prácticamente la mayor parte de la misma a desempeñar una destacada labor pedagógica en varios niveles de enseñanza, proyectándose en formar a sus educandos con un sentido de amor a la patria y de sus héroes, enfatizando en la divulgación y trascendencia de hechos históricos y personalidades que participaron en las gestas independentistas contra España; como Antonio Maceo, Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, José Joaquín Palma, José Martí, entre otros, sobre algunos de los cuales escribió para dejarnos una importante labor historiográfica. Entre esa obra historiográfica podemos encontrar su Cronología de la Guerra de los Diez años y ensayos sobre temas diversos de historia de Cuba, como: “Pedro Santacilia y Palacios”, “¿Dónde nació el general Antonio Maceo Grajales?”, “Cambula y sus dos hijos de Céspedes”. “Los Cinco Entierros de Martí” y varios ensayos más. El desconocimiento de la obra intelectual de Francisco Ibarra Martínez es la razón por la que se decide hacer este trabajo de diploma titulado “Aproximación a la vida y obra pedagógica e historiográfica de Francisco Javier Ibarra Martínez.” La estructura de la tesis está dividida en dos capítulos. En el primero se pretende mostrar una breve reseña biográfica desde su nacimiento en Caney del Sitio, hasta su muerte ocurrida en la Habana. En el segundo capítulo se procede a analizar su obra pedagógica e histórica.; Francisco Javier Ibarra Martinez was a personality from Santiago, who lived a long life during the XX century, and dedicated practically the most part of it to develop an outstanding training task in various levels of teaching. He devoted himself to educate his pupils in the sense of love to the motherland and its heroes, making emphasis in the spreading and transcendence oh historical events and personalities who participated in the independence wars against Spain, like Antonio Maceo, Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, José Joaquín Palma, José Martí, among others. He wrote about them to leave an important historiographical task to us. Within that historiography task we can find his “Chronology of the ten Year War” and essays on several topics of the Cuban history, like: ‘’Pedro Santacilia y Palacios’’, ‘’ ¿Where was General Antonio Maceo Grajales born?”, ‘’Cambula and her two Céspedes Children’’, ‘’ The five burials of Martí ’’ and some more essays.
